NPR Player for Chrome

About two weeks ago I published a small Google Chrome extension that allows simple streaming of National Public Radio in the background. It’s the first extension I’ve actually published on Google’s web store, and I went in with the expectation that me and maybe 20 other people are going to use it.

However, the stats are pretty bonkers:

Statistics from the Developer Dashboard

It started with a handful of impressions, and after the extension was indexed the number quickly jumped to millions. Of course, the installation numbers are low compared to that, but still well above my expectations. (Also, the dashboard is really buggy, it sometimes shows zero impressions/installations for days.)

Install the extension here or check out the source.
